It’s been a very long time since I’ve made any art, but this is inspired by Matthew 4:19
Also the reference photo was taken at the Buoy Shack after eating phenomenal lobster rolls

Life got busy and it took me two dang months to finish this piece.
Since 1/25/25 we have been sick three times, got mold in our apartment, had to move from said apartment to a new one unexpectedly, had family visit twice from LA and just normal life in between

I think I finished this piece about a month ago but am just now getting to upload it 😅
In the past month we have had maybe total 6 days where everyone was healthy or at home. It was just craziness the entire time.

Absolutely love this drawing of the in Rockport, MA! I got a gorgeous reference photo for it and couldn’t miss out on painting it! I did struggle with this piece just because the paper was more textured than I’m used to but I think it still looks great!

Mixed media watercolor and colored pencil ✏️

It has been MONTHS of on and off working on this piece based off of our 4th of July in York Harbor, Maine! It’s such a beautiful display and an amazing event to attend.
