🎶💿Happy Recital Day💿🎶

We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our students as they show off all of this season’s hard work and growth! If you are attending today’s recital, please review the following information below! ☺️

-Auditorium doors will open at 1:30pm, and the show begins at 2:00pm. Parents attending dress rehearsal with their children today are NOT permitted to save seats. No one will be allowed to save seats prior the doors opening.

-All recreational students will have their dress rehearsal today before the show begins. A reminder of those times is listed below:

Intermediate Hip Hop: 11:15am
Beginner Jazz: 11:30am
Intermediate Tap: 11:45am
Beginner Tap: 12:00pm
Intermediate Lyrical 12:15pm
Beginner Hip Hop 12:30pm
20.20.20: 12:45pm
Intermediate Jazz: 1:00pm

-Both recreational and competitive students will need to be dropped off in the side hallway by 1:15pm. Once you enter Boonville High School’s Lobby, go straight past the concession stand and take a right. Students can be dropped off under their respective routine name signs hanging on the wall. Children are allowed to bring items with them for entertainment while they wait to perform. We just ask parents do not send them with anything that could stain their costumes.

-Remaining tickets will be sold at the door on a first come, first serve basis. Once they are sold out, we will not be able to add additional seating.

-In order to limit parents entering and exiting the auditorium during the show, we will have plenty of help for students who have costume changes. We ask parents only assist their child in the dressing rooms during intermission.

-Concessions are available before the show and during intermission. Concessions are cash only.

-For those that ordered a recital T-shirt, they are available for pickup at the concession stand.

-If you did not pre-order flowers for your dancer, do not fret!! Beverly J. Ellen will have additional flower bouquets for sale today in the lobby.

-Jeff Wollenmann Photography will also be set up in the lobby for anyone needing to pickup recital photos or place an order.

We are 4 days away from our 2026 dance recital! Tickets can be purchased online at https://buy.tututix.com/juliasdanceacademy through Friday, May 29th. Any remaining tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis at the door on Saturday, May 30th. We can’t wait to see you there!

Julia’s Dance Academy will be closed today, May 25th, for Memorial Day. We will operate on a normal schedule the remainder of the week.

🌟 Senior Sunday 🌟
As we enter our last week of classes for the season we want to honor our one and only graduating Senior, Maggie Barr! Maggie has been a part of our Julia’s Dance Academy family for 3 years and immediately stepped into being a leader and role model for our team. She will be missed greatly by everyone next year!

💐Recital Flower Bouquet Pre-Order💐

If you are hoping to gift your special dancer a flower bouquet after his or her recital performance, Beverly J. Ellen has you covered! Flower bouquet order forms will be available in the hanging file cabinet located right outside of the studio lobby. Once the form is filled out, please pay the appropriate amount with either cash or a check and turn it back into the studio payment box in a labeled envelope. You may also snap a picture of the completed form and text it to (812)-660-2791. All pre-orders are due by Tuesday, May 26th. Beverly J. Ellen will also have additional flower bouquets available for sale the day of recital! Thank you!!

The 2026-2027 Julia’s Dance Academy Competitive Team Tryouts are today! If your child has interest in trying out but you missed the new parent meeting, it’s not too late! Feel free to contact the studio today to get your information packet. Please make sure to arrive a few minutes early to have time to check in, turn in your completed paperwork, and make sure you are ready to go right at your session’s start time.
* Dancers 9 & under
4:00pm-5:00pm (Students interested in trying out for a solo, duet, and/or trio must stay until 5:30pm.)
* Dancers 10 & older
6:00pm-7:30pm (Students interested in trying out for a solo, duet, and/or trio must stay until 8:00pm)
