Hey DPA Family!
Rachel Storment here. For those who don't know me, I am the founder of the program, and have been with DPA since 2014.
Over the years, we have been blessed to have over 1,000 students go thru our program. We have seen tremendous growth, and have had the opportunity to put on countless shows and recitals to bless our students and the community. DPA has made a lasting impact on dozens of families, and we are forever grateful for all who have been involved over the years.
It is no secret that since COVID, DPA has struggled to regain it's bearings--from employee transitions, to public health guidelines, to students moving out of state, we have shifted the program over the past two years to accommodate the families we have involved now.
Ashlee Fey has been our program director since 2015, and she has been a tremendous asset to our program. Over the course of the last several months, Ashlee has made the decision to fully invest herself in her "Next" big adventure. Ashlee will be pursuing full-time motherhood and investing in her two beautiful children, Radko & Bearett. We couldn't be happier for Ashlee, and we know we owe much of DPA's success to her. We honor her commitment and success with DPA, and we send her off to her next adventure with nothing but admiration and applause.
That being said, it with much prayer and consideration, we have made the decision to put DPA on an official PAUSE for the year 2022-2023. I (Rachel Storment) will begin searching for a program director, as well as a new staff to restore DPA to it's pre-covid status. It is our full intent to restore classes, ministry involvement, and shows, but to do so, we need time, planning, and a new impassioned staff who Is ready to tackle the next season.
I realize this is difficult news; I have wrestled with this decision for several months as well, and I know this is the best decision for our family, our students, and the future of our amazing program.

I would like to thank everyone again for your support, your prayers, and your encouragement over the years. We know this is not goodbye.... it is simply an intermission. We cannot wait until the show goes on once again.
