A huge thank you to Captain Tyler, First Mate Jamie, and the team at A Morning In Maine for hosting an unforgettable sailing adventure for youth from The Landing Place!

Earlier this June, 11 young folks and four staff members spent the day exploring Penobscot Bay from the water. For many, it was their first time on a sailboat and a chance to experience the Maine coast from a whole new perspective.

We're so grateful for the generosity of the Morning in Maine crew. Thank you for creating such a special opportunity for local youth and helping make lasting memories! ⛵

Come help us bring our backyard to life!!

Our gardens are a space of connection, creativity, and nourishment. Each summer, young folks get their hands in the soil and grow flowers, veggies, and more. We're looking for donations as well as folks to help facilitate these young green thumbs!

Specifically, we are looking for:
- someone willing to help us rototill our garden area
- seedlings, seeds, and herbs
- gardening gloves & tools
- planters& trellises, tomato cages
- fun and welcoming garden decor
- solar garden light

A quick note on hygiene donations! We’re currently in need of personal care items like shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, and toothpaste, especially for young people at The Landing Place.

While we appreciate all donations, full-size products, not travel size, are especially helpful. They last longer and help folks feel more comfortable and cared for, whether they’re accessing services or settling into a new home.

Donations for The Landing Place can be dropped off Wednesdays from 10am–12pm.
Homeworthy accepts donations by appointment.

FRIDAY! We are cleaning out our FREE STORE closet for the winter and collecting spring and summer goods! We're inviting the community to come by and check out our offerings - coats, shoes, pants, sweaters, hoodies, and more, at a sliding scale from free to $20, whatever makes sense for you ✨

This Friday, March 27 at 61 Park St, Rockland from 12-4PM!

We will also be accepting donations of summer clothing and outdoor goods at this event if you are hoping to donate!

Prom is one of the most exciting events of a high schoolers life - and finding an outfit should never be a burden! The Landing Place is putting out a call for formal dresses appropriate for teenagers in all sizes.

The Landing Place accepts drop-in donations on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm. If that timing doesn't work for you please reach out to us via email at [email protected] or call our Donations Coordinator at 207-691-4353 to schedule a donation drop-off.
