Looks like there was also another finger tat below it that failed. Finger tats do exactly what finger tats like to do. Ace tattoo has chosen to not do hand tattoos.

WWI Dog tag with in case you were lost with 12 beads so you could count the months. Longer beads with 365 so you could count the days. Indent on dog tag - worse case scenerio to be placed inbetween departed's teeth.
