Just a few photos from a recent artwork installation for a local clinic. 52 artworks sourced and framed for this amazing healthcare location.

The art was sourced from a variety of places - local artists through to publishers. Each corridor had a different nature theme: water, flora, pediatric, landscape ... At the end of each corridor was a wrapped canvas piece, but in the exam rooms everything was under perspex, due to health and safety.

We chose to frame everything with a silver metal frame but we floated some, traditionally framed others and some were straight in the frame, with a spacer keeping the artwork away from the glass, creating a feeling of continuity and yet adding a subtle variation throughout.

What an exciting morning! I had the pleasure of working with Brad Nordlof to install this 14’2” photograph into a dedicated recess in a new local clinic.

This is just 1 of 52 artworks that we have sourced & selected for the space, working closely with the hospital’s interior designers & project managers.

I will update the progress of the installation over the next week. An art installation was completed today in a local family practice ... adding pictures to others which had been previously purchased. This was our suggestion as theres no point in buying new art for the sake of it if existing works are in good condition & still fitting. We wanted this to be cohesive so one could not tell which was old & which was new. This lead us to have black & white photos in the waiting room & corridors & colorful images in the examination rooms. As some rooms were large & windowless we had some fun adding more than one to the space to brighten it up

Such a wonderful day to install 32 artworks into a convenient care.

The walls in the corridors were long so we chose some groupings of works & it was requested that the works have a nature theme but to include some with an abstract aspect. I'm thrilled that the response to the installation was a very positive one by nurses & doctors alike.

This morning we installed 17 black and white photographs into a clinic that is currently being updated. Here are a few photos that we snapped whilst there, but as patients were using the space many have been missed out. The brief was to keep the theme as nature orientated and calm as the walls were colorful - hence why the black and white images were agreed upon.

We chose a modern twist on a traditional framing choice to give the overall feel one similar to an art exhibition. Clean lines and sophisticated.

I will update these photos once the new chairs etc have been placed to give an true view of the finished look of the clinic.

Today we finished the installation of 43 photographs in a beautiful clinic in Janesville, WI. The brief was to select artwork that was nature based and colorful.
