🎶 Looking for an affordable music summer camp this summer? Holland Symphony Orchestra is hosting its second annual summer strings camp at Zeeland’s Creekside middle school from noon-4, Monday through Friday July 27-31! Our very own director John Reikow is conducting, and our concertmaster Katie Reikow will be leading the first violins as well! Each string section has an HSO musician coach who will run a sectional every day and sit in as principal of their section. Pablo Mahave-Veglia will be running the cello/bass sections, Connie Meekhof the violas, and the wonderful Krista Archembault will be leading the second violins. Registration is now open and the repertoire has been picked today! Tuition is 175 for the entire week! If you need help signing up or if you have any questions, let us know! 🎶

🎶 On April 19th at 3pm, come out to Rockford High School Auditorium and feast your ears on some really great springtime music presented to you live and for free by the Rockford Community Music Ensembles! The band, choir and symphony will each be performing their spring repertoire. The symphony will be featuring our concertmaster, violin soloist Katie Reikow performing Raulgh Vaughn William’s romance titled The Lark Ascending. She will also be performing a song with the choir called “Carry the Light”. We’re looking forward to listening to all three groups, hope to see you there! 🎶
