Congrats Lea

A sold-out field with athletes from 15 states competed at the PBA Jr. / KR Strikeforce Midwest/Central Regional Qualifier this past weekend at Strike N Spare II in Lockport, IL. This event saw four repeat PBA Jr. Champions add another title to their resume, and four runners-up punching their ticket to the PBA Jr. National Championship Finals.

In the U18 Boys Division, Ryan Carmichael (South Bend, IN) captured his third PBA Jr. title. Entering the Match Play Round as the #2 seed, Ryan averaged 220 for the event and went 5-1 in Match Play, winning the all-important Position Round match to secure his title. Since Ryan had already earned a spot in the PBA Jr. Finals, runner-up Bryan Brandt (Prospect, OH) secured his invite to the Finals.

Arryn Odujebe (Manassas, VA) continued his impressive 2026 performance by earning his fifth PBA Jr. title overall (all in 2026) in the U15 Boys Division, averaging an impressive 224 for his 21 games. Arryn had already qualified for the PBA Jr. Finals, so runner-up Eli Franco (Fishers, IN) earned his spot to compete in the PBA Jr. National Championship.

In the U18 Girls Division Holly Orgeman (Birnamwood, WI) cruised to her second PBA Jr. title, finishing with a 258 pin lead and averaging 204 for the entire event. Holly already qualified for the PBA Jr. Finals at the PBA JR. WSOB in June, so second runner-up Sarah Doughty (Sterling, IL) earned herself a trip to the PBA Jr. Finals.

Lea Besevic (Machesney Park, IL) put on an impressive performance in the U15 Girls Division, leading the event from start to finish and going undefeated in Match Play to earn her fourth PBA Jr. title, all in calendar year 2026. Since Lea already qualified for the PBA Jr. Finals earlier this year, runner-up Leah Hopkins (Heyworth, IL) earned herself a spot in the PBA Jr. National Championship Finals.

Congrats to our Champions, the PBA Jr. Finals advancers, and all of the athletes who competed this weekend! We’d also like to thank General Manager Chris Watson and the entire staff at Strike N Spare II for their support of junior competitive bowling and for hosting our event this weekend.
