A father trying to reconnect with the son he abandoned years ago takes a job at the same craft store where his son works. As he waits for the rapture he believes is imminent, their uneasy reunion unfolds among break rooms, fluorescent lights, and shelves of crafting supplies.
Blending sharp humor with deeply human questions about belief, forgiveness, and second chances, A Bright New Boise explores what it means to search for meaning—and connection—in an uncertain world.
Directed by Nicholas J Barelli, this intimate production invites audiences into the strange, funny, and unexpectedly moving world of a Hobby Lobby break room.
