Are you a writer, an actor, or someone interested in creating compelling characters? Join us for Crafting Character, a free workshop presented by Moon Dog Theatre on Sunday, August 10th from noon to 2 PM at the The RPL Nordlof Center in downtown Rockford.
Led by playwright and educator Elliot Baker, this workshop is designed to help participants explore the process of developing strong, engaging characters, whether for the stage or the page. No prior writing experience is necessary. The session is open to all and offers valuable tools for both writers and performers.
Participants will work through creative exercises focused on character voice, motivation, and physicality, with the goal of building characters that feel real, alive, and usable in both writing and performance.
