Get ready, Rockford. A brand-new summer tradition is coming to Davis Park.

GoRockford is excited to introduce 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗬𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 presented by: Foresight Bank, a free two-day music and community festival happening August 14 - 15, 2026 along the Rock River.

Created as part of Rockford’s America 250 celebrations and in conjunction with Rockford 815 Day festivities, RockYard will bring together live music, food, art, games, family activities, fireworks, a drone show and plenty of hometown energy. Think summer festival meets Rockford pride, with a little extra sparkle over the river.

The festival will feature major acts including Trippin’ Billies: A Tribute to Dave Matthews Band and One More Time: A Tribute to Daft Punk, plus local and regional performers, throwback competitions, interactive art experiences and more.

Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate the spirit of Rockford in a big way.

📣 2026 Community Programming Grant Applications Now Open!

The Rockford Area Venues and Entertainment Authority (RAVE) is proud to support local organizations through the Community Programming Grant Request Program, designed to provide financial assistance for community-based events at the BMO Center, Coronado Theatre, and Davis Park.

This program allocates $10,000 annually to help cover venue costs for eligible local events. Interested applicants must submit an event application including event details, licensing information, and references. Final funding decisions are made by a review committee and approved by the RAVE Board.
