I spent yesterday building a balloon arch for Weisstechnik for their Grand Opening of their new building. It held up even with the wind.

I'm going to be out and about at some public events this week.
First is tonight in Zeeland, for Zeelmania! Downtown Zeeland from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Zeeland Festivals, Inc. This is a fun summer festival that happens every Monday in July.
Tomorrow is Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan Kid's Night, from 5:30 - 7:30. Then it's the Blues Night also in Rockford. The music starts at 7:00 P.M. But, due to the Corner Bar I don't start twisting at the concert until just after 7:30. Even if you're not a big blues fan, the music is always great and it's a fun time. Thursday I'll be in Hudsonville for "Happenings on Harvey Street"
It's another fun street festival that happens every Thursday in July. I'll be twisting from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
The weather this week is going to be sunny and hot. So, get out with the family and enjoy it.

I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July. I had a very bust one. I performed for some of my clients that have been with me the longest. I started at the Mt. Beach Neighborhood Parade. I've done this event for 29 years. Then I headed up to the Ferrysburg 4th of July Picnic. I've only been doing this one for 17 years. I ended my 4th of July at the Canadian Lakes Celebration. I've been performing for this group for 15 years. I had a great day.
Next week July really gets busy. Every Monday night in July, in Zeeland is Zeelmania! From 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. there will be lots for family activities, including me.
Happenings on Harvey Street are on the Thursday nights in Hudsonville. I'll be there on July 16 and 30.
And don't forget I'll be at the Corner Bar on Tuesdays. Then I go to the Rockford Blues Night, which is a free concert down by the Rockford Dam.

I've wanted to do a Statue of Liberty for a long time. And, since I did the balloons for Graff Jeep in Rockford, that gave me a reason to do it. So, they get one more patriotic balloon. Go check it out. Graff Rockford

Tonight I will be twisting balloons at a fun event. I'll be in Hudsonville for their Summer Concert at Veteran's Park. The music and balloons start at 7:00 P.M. There will also be other kid's activities and food.
This weekend is also the Lakeshore Arts Festival in Muskegon. I'll be there on Saturday from 9:00 - noon.
So, get out with the family and enjoy the summer.

The 4th of July is coming. I had the pleasure of decorating Graff Jeep in Rockford, for the 250th anniversary of the U.S.A. Stop in and check it out and maybe buy a Jeep. Graff Rockford

Tuesdays in Rockford is always a fun time. Tonight I'll be Twisting balloons at Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan for Kid's Night. And this is the 2nd week of Blues by the Dam. If it's not raining, I'll be there starting around 7:30 P.M. (As of this minute the weather doesn't look to promising.)
It is also Day Care season. I've been visiting Day Care centers for the last couple of weeks, and I have 3 more this week.
Look for photos, later this week of a big decorating job I'm doing for Graff Jeep. I'll give you a hint. Think USA 250th Birthday.

It's June! The busy season is on.
This weekend is one of my favorite festivals. It's the Rockford Start of Summer Festival. I will be twisting balloons all four days. But Friday I'll be doing a show at 4:00 under the pavilion then twisting balloons following the show. Bring the kids. The show features magic, juggling and of course balloons. There will be fun things for the whole family all weekend long. There will be carnival rides, food, shows, an arts and craft show and lots of fun. It a great way to get the summer started and it all thanks to Rockford Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
Don't forget, I'll be at Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan on Tuesday for Kid's Night.
This week I also have lots of private events, Day Care centers and end of school parties. Like I said, "it the busy season". My elbow is feeling great and I'm ready to go.

OK, here is the Elbow Adventure.
About 3 1/2 weeks ago I fell on some steps and cut my elbow. I did the Neosporin and bandage thing and went on my way. I thought everything was healing fine. (I was wrong.) After my show a couple of Fridays ago I started to get a pain and then some swelling. On that Saturday, I did a show in Stanton, then went to Urgent Care. Then, I had a Birthday Party and my weekly visit to Woodchip Campground. By the end of the day, I had very swollen, red and painful left elbow. And a prescription for an antibiotic. Jumping ahead to the following Tuesday, it wasn't getting better. So, I went to my regular Doctor's office. They sent me to the Emergency Room. At the ER I got X-rays (everything fine) and another prescription for an additional antibiotic. Today I went back and saw my regular Doctor. I glad to say everything is healing well. Through all this I kept my show schedule and didn't miss a single show. (9 in all.)
The Show Must Go On!
Tonight I will be at the Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan for Kid's Night.
Next week is the beginning of June and I get really busy.
