Hello everyone!
Redwood has decided to take a leap and find a drummer to play with the band. We have a vision and decided that to further add to our sound, it is time to add percussion to our back line. So this post serves as an invitation for drummers to apply for the band. We are looking for one person who is willing and capable of playing the material we have already fleshed out. We play a mix of stylistic elements of Jazz, R&B, Soul, Country, & Classic Rock. We have shows booked through February 2027 and would be looking to incorporate someone as soon as possible.
Audition Songs:
Rufus & Chaka Khan - Sweet Thing
Stevie Wonder - Isn’t She Lovely
Hall & Oates - Sara Smile
America - Ventura Highway
Olivia Dean - So Easy to Fall in Love
These songs must be played in the initial audition.
What we are looking for:
Cocktail drumkit (or electronic)
Additional percussion is a plus
Someone who can rehearse once or twice a month (Monday Evenings)
Someone who showcases dynamic ability and someone who can lock into the pocket
Please share or tag a drummer if you think they would be a good fit!
