The Human Algorithm

Patrick Mattison makes the invisible visible — from imagined worlds to psychic structures. A multidisciplinary artist and graduate of the Academy of AstroPsychology, he approaches astrology as a symbolic language for navigating inner landscapes. Integrating systems thinking, depth psychology, and mythic narrative, Patrick examines the archetypal patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that give shape to the stories we embody.

He will be presenting on the theme Human Algorithm.

Friday, March 13
6:30 PM

As always, hosted by Emily Klonicki and Roni Golan at the Underground Gallery.

Peter J. Thomas
Friday, March 13
6:30 PM

Cellist Peter J. Thomas has been a member of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra since 2008 and has captivated audiences worldwide as a multi-genre soloist, chamber musician, and educator. With a passion for musical innovation through looping and effects, he seamlessly blends classical and contemporary styles, ensuring a truly unforgettable performance.

Performing throughout Wisconsin and Illinois as a one-man band on electric cello, Peter layers classical, original, pop, rock, and metal through live looping, drums, effects pedals—and vocals. He was the electric cellist and manager of Milwaukee indie rock band I’m Not A Pilot (2009–2015) and later a member of the Keith Pulvermacher Band before launching his solo touring career.

A resident artist with Wisconsin Public Radio (NPR), he has appeared on the “Pint Sized Music Series” for over two years and has curated music series at The Sugar Maple and Gibraltar MKE. He has toured with artists including Peter Gabriel, The Eagles, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Ben Folds, and members of The Police and Indigo Girls. A WAMI String Player of the Year and Shepherd Express “Best of Milwaukee” winner, Peter’s forte is audience retention—whether on major festival stages like Summerfest and SXSW or in intimate venues across the Midwest.

Peter will be performing on the theme of Human Algorithm
