So honored to be chosen as a volunteer for this. I should have gone years ago when I was first asked. I’ve done the “Welcome Home” plenty of time which is remarkable itself, but getting to experience the entire day with these veterans and their love ones is a whole other level. So much humility and pride mixed into the most endearing people I’ve met. It is truly an honored experience. Thank you to all the volunteers that make it possible. Thank you for the donations that allow these men and women to be recognized like they never have been before. And of course, thank you to the veterans who served and protected and those who currently continue to serve and protect. God Bless. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸🦅
