Yesterday’s watercolor demo with local Rockaway Beach resident and watercolorist Robert Vaughan was such a joy. His intuitive approach, flowing color, and gentle teaching style filled the gallery with inspiration.

Thank you to everyone who stopped in, asked questions, and spent time with us during this creative afternoon. Robert will continue exploring future demonstrations and workshops this fall, and we’re excited to share more soon.

Where Plein Air Meets Wildlife Wonder!

The Victoria Brooks & Rich Brooks exhibit is alive with coastal light and wildlife energy — truly! On view through August 9 at Blue Water Fine Art Gallery, 119 S. Miller St., Rockaway Beach, OR.

Victoria’s plein air coastal paintings capture the shoreline in real time, painted outdoors in shifting sun, wind, and atmosphere.
