Adekayl laid there motionless with just one eye twitching barely open, nervously staggering his breath for just a moment. Immersing himself in the grim reality of the few seconds that were left behind him just minutes before now.
"I have to get up" his thoughts screamed and demanded behind silent lips.
"No, not quite yet, just....another... minute" he assured himself, "He's almost here", as he could hear from a short distance away, the calm, calculated breath of a savage hunter knowing its prey is near by.
So Adekayl waited.
Breathing in "1,2,3,4,5", he counted in his head.
Breathing out "1,2,3,4,5" he counted again.
With an almost ghostly motion, quick, unseen, as if it never happened, he gripped the comforting hilt of his ancient blade.
Another deep, deep breath.
Another reassuring grip of the hilt as his thoughts unravel into boiling pools of warm reminiscence. His one eye now fully closed.
The Great Halls of BeunElla echoed with the roar of the celebration of a thousand kingdoms that day. Adekayl, with his 9 other benevolent warrior brothers, who's swords had never spilled innocent blood, assembled at the bottom of the Great Hall to present themselves before the courts of righteousness.
"Long live Adekayl and his Benevolent Brothers"!!!! chanted the thousands upon thousands upon thousands gathered to witness the judgement of those who can never be slain. Those who's eyes are as deep and dark as the very abyss from which they came, those who make mere men tremble and die in fear just gazing upon those black, vastly empty eyes. And to commemorate the 10 brothers who dared to battle 'those who can not be slain' victoriously.
The preists and kings and queens all stood from their thrones blinding mortal eyes with splendor and glory, like snow covered mountains gleaming from a hundred suns. The pillars that held the tops of the Great Halls as far as one could see began to pour from their mighty places fire and gold filling the canals laid throughout the corridors, like flowing streams of lava, illuminating all of BeunElla.
"Long live Adekayl and his Benevolent Brothers"!!!!
As the 10 Brothers approached the thrones of righteousness of the kings and queens of BeunElla, the high preists met them with compassionate embraces, and the fragrant incense blessings of Yahnew, The Lord of All Spirits, and of all things. Unsheathing their swords, raising the hilts of their blades to their forheads, the brothers kneel in absolute reverence, as the kings come down from their thrones to approach the mighty immortal men, who's blades have never spilled innocent blood.
"Long live Adekayl and his Benevolent Brothers"........
One eye twitching barely open again, Adekayl screams from behind his silent lips.
"NOW"!!!!
