Friday's the day!! If you haven't already, don't forget to purchase your tickets through the link on the homepage or in person at the doors!! We can't wait to see everyone as we open our doors and present what our actors have been so hard at work at for the last 3 months!! But last but not least, and VERY crucial to the show, we present our Tech Crew!!!!
Hannah Bae (junior) has been with the theatre for 3 years this year and it is her first time helping manage the backstage! She's been hard at work sewing and putting together the beautiful costumes our actors are so privileged to wear onstage!
Keiren Crosby (sophomore) has been with this theatre for two years and has been part of the tech crew through all of it, we couldn't be more lucky to have her on the team!
As we jump backstage, we are excited to have Deegan Smith and Carson Williams as our run crew!! This is both their first years to have anything to do with the theatre as seniors and though we are sad to see them go, were glad they've been able to experience two weeks of late night rehearsals as they haul articulate set pieces back and forth, and keep the actors on track toward opening night!!!
Harlie Morgan (junior)is also part of the backstage run crew, she has been with us for two years and it keeps getting more and more exciting!! From running the booth to running the sets with Carson and Deegan, she helps to keep backstage quiet and lively as the dancers prepare for their next encounter with the audience!!
Kimberli Perez (junior) has been with us for three years and a journey it's been!! From an extremely talented actress to costume assistant and now to stage manager!! Kim has been on a learning journey through the theatre and she has been a big help to direct and make sure everything runs smoothly, and we could not thank her enough!!
Again, even as the actors take their bows, and the orchestra plays their final notes, the loudest applause belongs to the individuals, who this would not be possible without, and the actors look up to. :)

The days are counting down so quickly, as the waiters begin to warm-up for their gallop, and the guests arrive for the entertainment, we can’t wait for you to come watch us open this weekend!

As we step into the second week of tech week, it's time to introduce our Dolly and the couples we will be following within the musical!
The lovely Mrs. Dolly Gallagher-Levi will be played by our very own senior and Theatre President, Emily Anderson! This is Emily’s fifth production and she has been preparing for this moment to shine! She brings out the wit and charm of Mrs. Levi, and we cannot wait to say hello to Dolly opening night!
The well-known Yonkers half-a-millionaire, Mr. Horace Vandergelder will be portrayed by junior Tanner Woodward!! This is Tanner’s first musical production and we are so excited to have him on board! He brings so much laughter and fun to the cast!

Caira Crosby will be playing Mrs. Irene Molloy, a widow looking for a change in her life and maybe something more. This coy character unexpectedly finds someone she may not have been looking for but may have needed in her life. Caira has been with the Theatre since freshman year and though we are sad to see her go, we cannot wait to see what else is in store as she continues her journey forward! Josh Davies will play Mr. Cornelius Hackl, the chief clerk at Vandergelder’s Hay & Feed. He yearns for more than to sit behind a desk, and wants to see the world. Josh is a junior and this is his first high school production!!

Mily Bae, Minnie Fay, coincidence?? We too have wondered the same. Mily will play Minnie Fay onstage as she exits the stage for the final time in high school. She has been with us since her sophomore year, and has worked on four previous productions. We follow Minnie as she questions if her employer, Mrs. Molloy, is going to take her on the aventure of a lifetime. Though she may not have expected it, she finds new relationships and learns new lessons along the way. She meets Barnaby Tucker, played by Max Phillips!! He is a sophomore and has been in two previous productions!! Barnaby is a young lad who follows around his friend waiting for an adventur. Maybe he will find something better as he parades through town in his best sunday clothes!!

All aboard!!!

The first week of tech done!!!! After nights of rehearsals running late and so many notes from each of our directors, we are proud to say we have a show!!!

Wesley Baxter will be playing Mr. Ambrose Kemper! And this lovely lady next to him is Gracie Wille, who will be playing the young Ermengarde! Through this show, they will face whatever is thrown at them and prevail in the end. They are both seniors and we cannot wait to see them one last time on stage before they head out into the world to face whatever may be next!!! Thank you for being part of The Theatre and we hope you continue to find joy in the performing arts!!

Macie Byers plays Mrs. Rose, she is also a senior and we can’t wait to see how she surprises the audience!! Adalynn Berrett is a junior who will be playing THE Ernestina Money!! Is she real? Is she who she says she is?? Both these actors are hilarious and they make the show so much more fun!!

Another rehearsal gone and we can’t wait for this show to open!!! And as another day does by, another couple of cast members to celebrate!!
Meet our Dance Captains for “Hello, Dolly!”, Katie Waters and Kylee Lucero!! This pair of wonderful ladies have worked tirelessly to help choreograph some of these dances we are so excited for you to see! They've worked hard incredibly hard and we're so proud of them!!

Another couple days that have gone by and we can’t forget to give honorable mentions to our waiters!!! This group of actors have done over the top work and have spent countless hours on perfecting and fixing dances to make this show come to life!! We truly are so lucky to have them on the team as they bring laughter and spirit to the show!! When days are hard they are there to bring everyone up without fail!!

10 days until Rock Springs High School Theatre opens “Hello, Dolly!”!! The cast has been hard at work and so much time and effort has gone into this show!!! There are so many new faces, from freshmen to seniors, but we appreciate everything everyone has brought to the table!! And as we step into tech week, RSHS Theatre Department is proud to present this year’s ensemble of “Hello, Dolly!”!! This truly would not be a show without these members and we value each and every one of their time and spirit throughout these past 4 months!!!
