Friday we had our lane recertification for USBC which is a requirement to be a USBC sanction bowling alley. The last time this was done was prior to the floods in 2024. When done our wood lanes scored a 98.3 which is outstanding for wood lanes of this age. This year we were worried we would lose our ability to be sanctioned from all the damage that the flood caused. After couple years our time finally came to have the lanes measured. To our surprise our lanes scored an amazing 99.7 out of 100. The USBC official informed us that our lanes are the highest scored wood lanes in the nation which is a complete surprise and great feeling of accomplishment for all the hard work that was put in after the flood. To have this great achievement in such a small 8 lane bowling alley is the best feeling. Leagues start soon! Cant wait to see all of our bowlers!

This past weekend, two teams represented us at the USBC Iowa state tournament, participating in singles, team and doubles competitions. One doubles team(Tom Huisman & Jason Albers) is currently leading their division, and another team ( Bryce Bickerstaff & Nick H) closely follows in second place. We are proud to announce that Joey Kamm bowled a flawless 300 game, while Jason Albers achieved a remarkable 279 game, striking nine consecutive times. The team's performance on Sunday resulted in Micah Freese scoring 702 in the team events. Let's congratulate these outstanding bowlers on their achievements.
