Another WIP Wednesday, another hat! I’m working on a candy corn inspired witch hat because my brain wouldn’t rest until I did! 😅

I’d love to know what you’re working on? 🤔

Tuesday needs at The Third Place: MEN’S UNDERWEAR, DEODORANT, SLEEPING BAGS, TENTS, AND SUGAR.

You know, just your average shopping list. 😂🛒

Running a drop-in center means our needs can be a little… random. One minute we need sugar for the coffee, the next we need underwear, deodorant, or something to help someone stay warm and sheltered outside.

But behind every random request is a REAL need. 💙

Men’s underwear means dignity. Deodorant means feeling fresh and confident. Sleeping bags and tents can make a difference when someone has nowhere safe to sleep. And sugar? Well, we serve A LOT of coffee, and keeping that coffee station running is practically a full-time job! ☕😂

So, if you’re cleaning out your donation stash or making a trip to the store, please consider picking up one of these items for our guests. Every little thing helps us keep The Third Place running and our community cared for.

Our donations hours at The Third Place:
Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM.

🧶 Weekend donations: Our friends at Bev's Yarn Barn graciously accept donations on our behalf during the weekend!

Thank you for helping us turn the most random shopping list into something that makes a real difference. We couldn’t do this without you! ❤️

End of year schedule has been finalized! I am so excited to announce a new felting workshop as well as a couple of specific sewing classes I hope you'll love

Also stoked to announce a recurring schedule - The upcoming classes will have a different vibe and you'll be able to vote on the craft each month! If you have never been to Greyhound, I highly highly recommend you check it out!

Last but not least is a very silly painting competition I am doing with for the midnight release of ACOSH. I will be sharing more info about this soon, so keep an eye out!

The classes and signups are all on my website - let me know if you have any questions!

Are you or your kids making your own costume for Halloween? Do you have no idea where to start or what to do? Having a specific issue? Halloween costumes and cosplays are the root of every hobby I've started, so there are few problems I haven't encountered. I would love to help you!

Stop in to Bev's Yarn Barn on Friday for a pop-up sew in with me - I will be working on the various costumes I am making for this year and would love to chat and find solutions for your costume related problems.

This is totally free and no registration is required!
