Check out this email from Mr. Sandleback...

1. No rehearsal or Lessons Week of May 3rd through May 7th: Students will be testing at the middle school and I will be asked to help distribute tests and assist teachers in other ways. Due to this I will not be able to provide remote or onsite lessons next week.

2. Full Band Rehearsals on May 11th and May 13th: We will have our last two full band rehearsals on Tuesday May 11th and Thursday May 13th in the morning from 7:30am to 8:25am. Doors open at 7:15am. Both remote and onsite students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

3. School owned instruments need to be returned to me by Friday May 14th: Students can leave their school owned instruments with me after the last rehearsal on May 13th. Any missing school owned instruments will be charged to the students account for the full value of the instrument. Students will not be able to keep school owned instruments over the summer like last year.

4. Coffee Cake's: If you placed an order for Dave's Coffee Cakes for pick up, they are ready for pick up at La Familia Restaurant in downtown Rock Falls. Please pick them up as soon as possible.

5. Brick Fundraiser: On May 8th and May 15th the band will be doing their Brick Fundraiser for the Dillion Foundations from 1-3pm in Sterling. We need students and families to volunteer to help move bricks! Please use the link below to sign up all in your family who are willing to help on either (or both) days. On May 8th and May 15th, the band will be doing their Brick Fundraiser for the Dillion Foundations from 1-3pm in Sterling. We need students and families to volunteer to help move bricks! The more bricks we move the more money we make! The more people that are there the easier it is!
Students will need a ride to and from the brick moving location (for location details see below). Gloves will be provided as well as water and additional masks. Younger siblings are allowed to help as long as a parent is there to accompany them. We need 3-4 parents to volunteer for each day at a minimum in order to make this work.

I am excited to announce that I have arranged to have full band rehearsals before school on a few preselected days. We will be having a full band rehearsal on April 20th, 22nd, 27th & 29th starting at 7:30am in the middle school gym. It should be a fun time as it has been over a year since we have been able to practice together.

Students will need to be dropped off through the cafeteria doors in the front of the school. The doors will be unlocked at 7:15am so students can enter and get ready. Rehearsal will start at 7:30am, which means students need to be in the gym on their spot with their instrument and music ready to go at 7:30am.
