Known as "Kodak City," Rochester has always had a deep connection to film. What better way to celebrate the history and connection between Rochester and your Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra than through film photography?

In collaboration with local analog photographer Vivian Rivers, we captured moments from one of your RPO’s final rehearsals of the season.

Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra names Tonya McBride Robles the new President and CEO effective August 17, 2026

McBride Robles brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in the performing arts. Having guided orchestras and arts organizations through periods of growth, innovation, and transformation.

“Tonya’s combination of operational excellence, artistic understanding, fundraising success, and public-facing leadership experience makes her uniquely qualified to build on the RPO’s strong foundation and guide the organization into its next chapter,” said Diana Clarkson, RPO Board Chair.

McBride Robles will be focused on growing earned and contributed revenues plus developing innovative patron experiences for diverse audiences throughout Greater Rochester.

“I’m honored to join the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra at such an exciting moment in its history,” said McBride Robles. “The RPO’s commitment to artistic excellence, education, and community engagement is deeply inspiring. I look forward to partnering with Music Director Andreas Delfs, Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik, the musicians, staff, board, donors, and the Rochester community to build on the orchestra’s remarkable legacy.”

As we look back on all of the unforgettable moments from the 25/26 season one thing is clear, like Voices ot Today composer Jennifer Higdon says "it would be nothing... if we didn't have you"

Thank you for being part of the RPO family, for your support, your enthusiasm, and for sharing Kodak Hall with us throughout the year. From our season opener Breathtaking Barber, to unforgettable nights like SPACE! and Harry Potter in Concert to our finale Carmina Burana, every performance was filled with music that moves and made more meaningful because you were there to experience it with us.
