Spice Studio An intimate performance, movement and event space in the heart of the Green Mountains Located at 482 South Main St.

Spice Studio, located in Rochester, Vermont, is an intimate class, performance and small event space. A thirty foot by thirty foot area, boasts a hard wood floor and radiant heat. Currently offering classes in yoga, tai chi, and Kung Fu, Spice will ultimately have a full variety of classes, from theatre and dance, to exercise and meditation. he space has a bathroom with shower and an office space with free local telephone. in Rochester, right on scenic route 100 at the South end of town, Spice has ample parking.

Charles Martley teaches the Wednesday and Friday Yoga classes at Spice
Times are 8:30 to 10:30 on Wednesday’s, and 8:30 -10:00 on Friday’s..
Wednesday’s class is a restorative class, poses are slow moving with the breath, some poses are using props to support the pose sometimes up to fifteen and even twenty minutes, a very relaxing yoga class, works your focus and breath and body awareness.
Friday’s class is a moving class, full of the poses detail, moving with your breath, and still emphasizing not working to hard, easy with your body. The class still has a mix of poses, standing, sitting , on the mat and a restorative pose to open and close.
Class are $15.00 for the walk in and $12.00 for those who pay forward.

Jess Barakat teaches on Sunday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
Class description: Class description is relaxing, uplifting and healing for the body and mind. Jess has been teaching yoga since 2007, and utilizes her knowledge of Ayurveda, Yin, Restorative and Gentle Hatha techniques to create a deeply sacred and healing practice. She is certified in Reiki and Vinyasa and works both privately and in studios. In her classes, movements are flowing and easy to grasp, but deeply healing and restorative. Props such as bolsters, wedges, eye pillows, sandbags, blocks, straps, blankets and essential oils may be used to support the body in the release of stress, pain and stagnation. A focus on the chakras, and intention linked to breath help practitioners harness their own self activation, love and healing. Participants leave class feeling light and free.
Charge: $15 for drop-in rate, and 5 classes for $50
