PBT weekend,

We had two awsome brew days Sat & Sun!

Saturday we brewed with the Usual Suspects hbc at their annual brew for a cause charity event!
Thanks to Keith and Amy for hosting all of us for this worthy cause! It was another great brew day!

Sunday we brewed at Urbanrest's Sma$h beer competition.
Another great brew day with some of Michigan's best homebrewers!
Stop back July 26th Noon-4pm for the Sma$h beer comp.
The winning beer will be brewed on Urbanrest's system!

PBT's next event is our Big Brew Review July 11th 2-6pm at Cadillac Straits Brewery!
This is a free event 21& over...
Beers from our Big Brew Day (May 16th) will be judged for Brewers Choice and Peoples choice 1-3rd with great prizes for the winners!
Stop by to judge the homebrews and support our local brewery and supply house!

Thanks to Nick & Becky for hosting PBT's "Brew for the Cup" day Saturday!
It was a beautiful day for homebrewing!

Members brewed beers for the Michigan Beer Cup & Michigan State Fair Homebrew competitions.
Good luck to all!

Next Saturday June 6th we're splitting up our brewers for 2 different days.

We'll be at UrbanRest Brewery for their sma$h beer competition and the Usual Suspects annual brew a thon at Keith Manchesters house!

"Mi largest ALL GRAIN homebrew day"!
What a great homebrew day!

15 year totals:
Batches: 1116
Gallons: 903
8gal avg batch size...
Avg 74 brewers per year...

All brewers showed up despite a bit of rain in the am.
It's always great to brew & catch up with everyone!

Homebrewers won over $4000 worth of homebrew related prizes from our generous sponsors during the raffle. Congrats!

A special thanks to Jeff Malkiewicz from Great Lakes Malting Co.https://www.greatlakesmalting.com/ for the grain & Brian Tennis from Michigan Hop Allience https://hopalliance.com for the Mi. hops again this year! All Michigan ingredients for 3yrs now!

The 2nd part of our brew day is Big Brew Review July 11th 2-6pm at Cadillac Straits Brewery. Beers brewed Sat will complete for Brewer's choice and Peoples choice medals and prizes.

It's finally here!

MICHIGAN'S LARGEST ALL GRAIN HOMEBREW DAY '26!

SAT MAY 16TH 9am (No early birds please)...
ROCHESTER MILLS BEER CO!

PRO TIPS:
-Cash for $10 registration and raffle
-Sanitized howler/growler for WLP 090 yeast.
-Wheeled cart for hot water transport.
-Hoses and especially splitters for cold water.
-Pop ups?
-Chairs for chillin...
-NO electric outlets...
-Bring your own food/snacks. No grills please....
-Clean brewing gear on grass only. Spent grain in dumpsters on the left, NOT cardboard only dumpster.

Most importantly your fermentables to share with everyone while brewing!

Not brewing, stop by for our awsome homebrew related raffle ~3pm!...

Welcome back to Michigan Wayne.

After a lengthy search, we're delighted to share that we’ve found an exceptional leader and highly accomplished brewer to take over as Head Brewer at hear.say.

Wayne Burns (Burns Family Artisan Ales, Kuhnhenn Brewing, Bell’s Brewery) will join our team on June 1, relocating back to his home state from Denver, Colorado alongside his wife Laura.

Registration is now CLOSED for May 16th brew day!

YES Rochester Mills Beer Co has water so we are good to brew on Saturday!
We will monitor that all week & keep you all posted!

BRING:
-Sanitized howler/growler if you want WLP090 yeast.
-Hoses and splitters for cold water.
-A hot water wheeled cart.

-Clean brewing gear on grass not asphalt!

FOOD:
-Available takeout from RMBC or many other fine establishments near by.
