Stop by tomorrow for First Friday!

Happy almost-First Friday! March 6 has an awesome line up, with lots of exciting new exhibitions opening.

Plus, a special collaborative event: Flower City Fragments!
For this project, 36 individual 6x6 artworks will be created, each printed with a small portion of the Rochester City logo. Participants are invited to visit one of six First Friday venues and make original artwork on their square while keeping the printed line visible. When all the artworks are installed together within RoCo’s 6x6 exhibition this summer, they will connect to form a single, unified image of the iconic City logo built from art by fellow creative Rochestarians. Organized by John Magnus Champlin

Natalie Sacchitella, 314B
Natalie Sacchitella works out of her ceramic studio in The Refinery in Rochester, NY. She mostly focuses on functional pottery such as mugs, plates and bowls putting emphasis on simple forms with bright pops of color and craved designs. She creates these bright pops of color using porcelain slips that are dyed using mason stains. Natalie takes influences from her hometown in the Finger Lakes to create beautiful cravings of nature.

As the year is quickly coming to a close, I just wanted to put some of my thoughts into words. It’s beyond crazy to think of were life has taken me in the past couple of years. Starting my own studio has be a mixed of emotions but mostly it’s been amazing. And having a giant group of friends and family that have supported me has been incredibile and I will never be able to repay some of you for your kindness. So as this year comes to an end I just wanted to say thank you and I hope 2026 brings in even bigger things.
