Mark your calendar! The Lilac Family Fun Festival will be held on Saturday, July 11th from 4pm-9pm. This super fun and free event is held at the Spaulding High School Football Field and includes music, kiddie rides, food trucks, and all sorts of activities! The evening ends with the best fireworks display around.

Pop-Up Family Open Gym

Dates: June 4, 9, 16, 17, 18, 24 & 25

Time: 4:45pm-8pm

Cost: Free, open to Rochester Residents only

Location: Rochester Rec Gym at 150 Wakefield St, Suite 1

Age: Open to Rochester youth (under 18) and their favorite adults (18+ family member)! Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult family member who is 18+ and adults must be accompanied by a minor (family member under 18). Please bring ID to prove age and residency.

This program is free and open to Rochester Residents and Nonresidents age 18 and older. Participants should be prepared to show proof of age, such as a license. No registration required.

Please wear non-marking shoes.

The Nancy Loud Park will be closed from 7am-1pm on Wednesday, June 3rd for re-grading and sprinkler adjustment. 🪏
The closed time may vary depending on how long the work takes to complete, so we ask that you use caution and ensure that all work has stopped before visiting the park in the afternoon.

Drop In Family Open Gym for Home School Students and their Family

Pop into the Rec to shoot some hoops, throw a frisbee or just run around! This program is intended to give Rochester Home School Students and their families a convenient, indoor location to be active with other families and have fun. Please wear non-marking basketball court shoes so we can keep our beautiful gym floor looking good!

AGE: Open to home-schooled youth in grades K through 12 and their favorite adults! Minors must be accompanied by an adult 18+ and adults must be accompanied by a minor. Proof of Rochester residency required.

DAYS: Tuesdays

TIME: 11:30-1:00

LOCATION: Rochester Rec Center Gymnasium

REGISTRATION: No pre-registration required. Sign in with Rec Staff upon arrival. Parents/Guardians will provide proof of Rochester residency at sign in.

COST: free program.

Our 50+ RSAC members enjoyed a wonderful Community Dinner hosted by Frisbie Memorial Hospital! Guests were treated to a delicious meal featuring salmon, lentil salad, focaccia bread, fresh vegetables, and a tasty dessert.

In addition to fantastic food, the Frisbie team provided an informative presentation on stroke awareness. Their staff was incredibly welcoming, thorough, and took the time to answer questions from our members, creating a meaningful and engaging experience for everyone.
