Artists and Arts Professionals in Rochester! Please consider coming to and participating in this workshop. The arts have always been a response to and conduit for our societal and individual concerns, and this is a great place to learn and possibly begin to collaborate on how we as a sector can take active responsibility in contributing to our city's needs, growing our voice, purpose and relevance to a bigger conversation and issue.

I had a awesome time today with Rachel Deguzman training for her upcoming radio show "Up Close and Cultural" stay tuned and I will let you know when it begins to air. This station is an important resource and outlet for the arts and cultural initiatives in the area. Thank you WAYO 104.3 FM! Excited to work with you all some more :).

In case you missed it - here's an in depth story on the background and makings of A Street Light Festival, happening tonight and tomorrow night from 10am -1pm!
It's free, family, family friendly and just plain awesomeness!

Salenas Mexican Restaurant, Nox and Dark Horse will be open late serving food and drinks so be sure to stop in and see what they have to offer. These restaurants open up to the Village Gate Courtyard where Mariah Maloney Dance and Future Pointe Dance will be performing, just two of the 12 exhibitors you will experience as you walk through the festival footprint. You will also see projects by NoirFlux, Marla Schweppe, Chuck Miller, Kevin Darrt, Writers and Books, Riled Up! Featuring Mike Celona and Dj Riley Beats, VJ PLZ, Rochester Mini Makers Faire and Roger Sonntag. We are so honored to have all of our artists and makers participating in this event. Everyone has been working hard to give you all an extraordinary experience.
