We’re happy to share an updated poster for the Altenburg Baroque Trumpet Competition (Nov 19–22, 2026, Bad Säckingen, Germany), reflecting the strong support the competition has received so far. As planning continues and new partnerships are finalized, our sponsor list is still growing.

As of today, we are delighted to welcome newly confirmed sponsors, including the City of Bad Säckingen, as well as Sparkasse Hochrhein and the Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung. Because these partners were added very recently, a further updated poster including all current sponsors will be shared shortly.

Thanks to this expanding support, the competition will award more than €8,000 in prizes across the Baroque trumpet and keyed trumpet divisions. We warmly encourage outstanding players in both categories to apply when registration opens on May 1, 2026.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and partners for helping make this event possible—and thank you for your patience as the competition continues to grow: Neue Bachgesellschaft (with funds from the Johann Sebastian Bach Foundation), City of Bad Säckingen, Sparkasse Hochrhein, Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung, Historic Brass Society, International Trumpet Guild, Egger – Swiss Made Brass, Maller Baroque Brass Instruments, BFB Brass, Martin Schmid Blechbläsernoten, Neubauer Trumpets & Horns, and Vincent DiMartino.
