Roc The Mic We help local, non-profit organizations raise awareness and funding through live storytelling events.

RTM produces Listen To Your Mother Rochester annually on Mother's Day weekend, sourcing local businesses and entrepreneurs to support Rochester's women and children. To date, we have raised over $40,000, allowing the Society for the Protection and Care of Children to extend essential services to our city's most vulnerable people. LTYMR features local storytellers in a live reading of their true stories of motherhood.

Hungry for live storytelling? Hankering to write and perform? We're partnering with Levine Center to End Hate on a gorgeous night of live music & storytelling, featuring master trumpeter Herb Smith of the RPO.
We want to hear your story about real human connection in the least likely of places. About seeing or being seen, transcending your own bias, or discovering that the "other" isn't so different. Please submit your *short* (less than 900 words) piece to info at end hate roc dot org by February 15th, 2025.

We'll be publishing your stories of motherhood, casting them out to our online readership, and giving them (and you) the honor of being seen, making their ripples far and wide.
