Last night, we had the privilege to celebrate Xavier Joseph (RPYO Class of 2026) as he took the stage for his RPO Debut!

Xavier won the annual RPO Young Artist Auditions and the chance to perform Bruch’s Violin Concerto in G Minor, and we couldn’t be prouder of his beautiful and inspiring performance last night.

Xavier will be heading to Brown University this fall to pursue his studies in Biomedical Engineering and Music. We wish him nothing but the best of luck!

Every year, we invite the RPYO seniors to the RPO Gala to celebrate them before they graduate, and every year, they remind us how much energy they have compared to the rest of us. The class of 2026 owned the dance floor all night long (and yes, that human pyramid did happen!)

Thank you to this amazing group of young musicians for an unforgettable season. We’re so proud of you and excited for what’s next!

Make sure to secure your tickets for the final RPYO concert of the 25-26 Season!

This year’s performance will be extra special, as we’ll be featuring our two concerto competition winners. Xavier, a senior at McQuaid Jesuit High School, will be performing the Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 (mvt 1). Renee, a senior at Williamson High School, will perform the Boardman Episodes for Marimba & Orchestra.

Come support Xavier, Renee, and the rest of our students as they take their final bow of the season! 💙
