Mina Makes Ink Illustrations and other handmade items made with love and a little magic. I've been creating ever since I was a kid. From there art just kind of stuck with me.

My mom would take my sister and I to art museums, and then started signing me up for art classes. After 6 years of art school, I decided that the best way to spread the word of art was to teach it and MAKE it. Alas! MinaMakesInk was born. When I’m not working on something for Mina Makes or don’t have a camera in my hand, my other creative outlet is redesigning interior spaces. I especially love picking a piece for a room that sets the tone for the rest of the space. In this case for my tiny bathroom refresh, I found this beautiful shower curtain from and used the colors on it to influence the rest of the space. It’s the little touches that make it feel good. A little about the dragons:

Years of the Dragon includes those born in years 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976, 1964, 1952, 1940.….

Dragons, the majestic creatures of Chinese astrology, embody strength, intelligence, and prosperity. The horoscope for 2024 predicts that the upcoming year of the Dragon will be a year of change, opportunities and wealth.

Wearing emerald green will bring good luck in a birth sign year for dragons. The Year of the wood dragon is supposed to be a year to dream big, take action, stay positive, and build relationships.
