Join the Nazareth University Chamber Orchestra for an exciting program celebrating the beauty and diversity of orchestral music! Featured on the program is Vivaldi’s Double Violin Concerto in A minor, featuring Naz String Faculty violin Professors Margaret Leenhouts and Tigran Vardanyan as soloists. The concert also explores Mozart’s youthful brilliance in his underperformed Symphony No. 1, the vibrant Cuban melodies of La Bella Cubana, the lyrical beauty of Mascagni’s Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, and the energetic charm of Britten’s Simple Symphony. From Baroque elegance to classical mastery, Latin American warmth, and 20th-century ingenuity, this concert offers something for everyone.

As we head into the final week of the semester, we don't want to go by without acknowledging the wonderful work that our students have done throughout the year, but also on our final performance of the year.

We shared the stage in a side-by-side collaboration with students from the Twelve Corners Middle School and their amazing lead teacher, Mr. Matthew Glende

Thank you all for a wonderful year. 3 masterworks concerts, a full staged opera, a full Halloween program with students from the Churchville-Chili High School and guest conductor Chelsea Wahl, a few pop Christmas tunes for our Holiday Gala collaboration, and of course, a chamber orchestra concert.

We look forward to a brand new year full of possibilities and as always, great projects and collaborations. And to those graduating, we say go conquer the world!

What an incredible experience collaborating with Naz Opera and faculty. It has been truly uplifting and rewarding for our students to be part of a production like this.

Kudos to Kasi Krenzer Marshall, Artistic Director, and Dr. Kevin Nitsch, Music Director—and the loudest shout-out to the Naz Symphony members and conductor Dr. Raúl A. Munguía for taking on Humperdinck’s richly complex score.

Join us tonight at 7:00 PM and tomorrow at 1:30 PM, and step into the forest with Hänsel & Gretel.
