Chili Recreation Chili Recreation Department provides the surrounding community with a number of recreation and leisure programs

The Town of Chili, located in Monroe County, is a suburb of Rochester, New York. Chili is a community that is contrasted by a suburban character primarily in the geographic area north of Black Creek and a rural agricultural character south of Black Creek. Chili has a variety of recreational areas including eight town parks, one county park, two museums, a disc golf course, a public nature area, two semi-private golf courses, and two boat launches - one on the Genesee River and one on Black Creek. Each year the town's annual summer festival, the 'Chili-E Fest' draws thousands of people to entertainment, food vendors, and a fabulous firework display.

Tonight is the night — Kids’ Club is taking over the Chili Community Center!

We can’t wait to welcome kids in grades K–6 for a Friday night packed with pizza, sports, games, crafts, and plenty of time with friends.

Kids’ Club is all about giving kids the chance to play, create, connect, and make the Community Center their own for the night.

Kids’ Club is back this Friday at the Chili Community Center.

Give the kids a Friday night of their own with pizza, sports, games, crafts, and plenty of time to hang out with friends. Kids’ Club is open to children in grades K–6 and packs the energy of summer camp into one fun night.

🍂 CR Fall Fun Day 2026 🍂

What a great afternoon at Davis Park!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Chili Recreation Fall Fun Day and helped make the park such a fun place to be. From wagon rides and inflatables to pony rides, live music, our Community Picnic, Local Market, and all of the activities throughout the event, there was something happening everywhere you looked.

A special thank you to all of the local businesses, vendors, community groups, volunteers, and Town staff who helped bring the day together. Events like this are only possible because of the people and organizations who continue to show up and support our community.

We also want to thank Meg Tyo of Sweet Home Photography for capturing so many great moments from the day!

Thank you, Chili, for another memorable Fall Fun Day. We already can’t wait to do it again. Big thank you to Chili Public Library, Lions Club Of Chili, Adventures In Climbing, Heberle Stables, Hellaby Hill Farms, Schutts Apple Mill, Dave Turner Live, The Crew's Grill and Chili Parks Department.

Chili Recreation Youth Basketball is back for Grades K–6.

This trusted youth development league helps players learn the game, build confidence, and enjoy a fun season of basketball at the Chili Community Center.

What to know:

9 weeks of practice and games
One-day-a-week commitment
$70 Residents / $75 Non-Residents
Jersey and basketball included
Full-time CR staff on site
High school basketball player mentors
Parent volunteer coaches needed

Boys League: Oct. 31–Dec. 26
Girls League: Jan. 9–Feb. 27

Chili, let’s fill those stockings again!

Throughout September, ChiliCares is partnering with American Legion Auxiliary #330 for our Soldier’s Christmas Wish List Drive at the Chili Community Center.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, we helped fill 300 Christmas stockings for our troops. This year, we hope to do it again and make the holidays a little brighter for the men and women serving away from home.

Donations may include snacks, beverages, personal care items, games, holiday supplies and more. Please see the graphic for the complete wish list and donation guidelines.

Drop-Off Location: Chili Community Center
Collection Dates: The entire month of September, during open hours
Also Needed: 12–14 inch Christmas stockings

You may donate a full bag of items or simply contribute a few things from the wish list. Every donation helps.

Last year, Chili helped fill 300 stockings. Let’s see what we can do together this year.

Come see what Mr. Mark has set up today. Toddler Open Gym is BACK!

A new program period means the return of one of our favorite weekday traditions at the Chili Community Center.

Weekdays from 9:00–11:00 AM, Mr. Mark has kids ages 5 and under wide-eyed and ready to play as they walk into a new gym setup each day!

Toddler Open Gym offers two hours of unstructured gross motor free play — giving little ones the chance to move, explore, socialize and burn off some energy at their own pace.

Toddler Open Gym is FREE for Chili Community Center members.

CALLING ALL LOCAL FARMERS!

This year, Chili Recreation is giving our annual Fall Fun Day an even bigger purpose:

Together, let’s celebrate our local farmers and the fruits of their labor.

Saturday, September 26
11:30 AM–2:30 PM
Davis Park | 541 Chestnut Ridge Road

We’re inviting farms from Chili and the surrounding communities to join us and have a presence at this free community event.

Farmers are welcome to:
• Sell locally grown or produced goods
• Bring animals or educational displays
• Offer demonstrations or activities
• Promote your farm, farm stand, CSA or business
• Simply set up and tell your story

There is no vendor fee.

Our goal is to give the community a chance to meet the people behind our local farms, learn more about what they grow, raise or produce, and discover new ways to support local agriculture.

Fall Fun Day will also feature:

• Schutt’s Donut Truck
• Crews Grill
• Live music from Dave Turner
• Wagon rides from the Chili Parks Department
• Inflatable Corn Maze
• Inflatable Pumpkin Toss
• Pony rides
• Co****le and yard games
• More family activities throughout the afternoon
