If you are able to help us spread the word about the Q***r Hamdmade Rochester Holiday Sale, we have flyers to distribute. They can be picked up or delivered upon request. Leave a comment, message us, or send us an email if you're able to help distribute some flyers! Or tag someone who might want to help.

We're looking to have these up in community centers, small businesses, and other local gathering spots.

Word of mouth is one of the best ways to let everyone know about how awesome our artists are, so show some love and tell everyone about the Q***r Handmade Rochester Holiday Sale!

Hi there, Jules here. Yes I am posting random food pictures. But follow my neurodivergent brain here. What does a naan grilled cheese have to do with Q***r Handmade Rochester? I have been having solo campfires out near the woods in my yard. I love my yard. It’s my favorite place to be. And I had always dreamed of having an art festival here. 2020 was my opportunity to host a little.”Q***r Handmade Mulit-family yard sale” with all Covid precautions in place. Pride had been canceled and we really needed a space to all get together in a safe environment and celebrate. I thought it was going be a silly little thing that just happened once. This past year we had our seventh annual summer arts festival and we are gearing up for our six annual Q***r Handmade Holiday. So we get to the grilled cheese I thought was a silly little idea to make naan grilled cheese over the campfire. It worked! This is how I came to be eating grilled cheese alone, out in my woods, feeling sappy, thinking about how far we’ve come. Be kind to yourself. Be good to the ones around you, and never forget how far you have come. ***r

We LOVE all the q***r craft nights and events that have been popping up in the Rochester area. If you also organize q***r crafting events please drop your info in the comments. So, how was your pride? We definitely didn't have a good one.
A thing few people talk about when it comes to being an art vendor is the real cost of it. Not only do we have to buy materials for our artwork, but we also have to buy our tents, displays, and pay for the space at festivals. Pride cost $200 for a spot. We know that with outdoor shows, it can be a gamble with the weather, but it can be seriously disheartening and expensive when it really goes wrong. Many of us had pieces get damaged in the storm today, losing a lot of hard work and art someone could have enjoyed.
If you were vending at pride today, know someone who was, or if you are a fellow q***r artist who couldn't make it to the festival, please tag them in the comments! We want to be able to help everyone make back what they lost today.

We were so gratful to have so many awesome guests at our festival this weekend, you all really made it something special! Unfortunately, these objects were left behind, so let us know if you are missing them or you may know who they belonged to.
The objects pictured: sunglasses with a black frame and reflective blue lenses. Small zip pouch made to look like a slice of bread with a cartoony face. And of course, cat foot for scale.

Are you as excited as we are?! We have so many amazingly talented artists joining us at our 7th annual Q***r Handmade Art Festival, and it looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend! Come take a look at a truly diverse selection of creativity and support our incredible artists.
Stop by any time between 10am and 4pm on Saturday or Sunday. There will be over 70 different artists selling their wares, and we will have many activities and goodies at our welcome booth. Hope to see you there!

Hello everyone!
We are looking for volunteers for our 7th Annual Q***r Handmade Arts Festival Saturday June 27th & Sunday June 28.

We are looking for:
- Early birds to help set up 6:30-9:30am on Saturday and check in vendors at unloading.
- Folks to help both days at our welcome booth and offering artists breaks to use the bathroom starting at 9:30am.
- Help with take down and cleanup on Sunday at 3:30p.

Let us know if you can come help out anywhere from 2 hours or all day.

Somedays my process is on a whim and straight from the heart. other days im so impacted by every detail of life I cant help but spend 14 straight hours (minimum) building it." This work is so cool.
