Customer Spotlight: When the Gear Becomes Part of the Story
Sometimes the most meaningful projects have nothing to do with a show.
Our friend Howie, from the Irondequoit High School Class of 1976, recently put together an incredible memorial for his upcoming 50th class reunion—honoring classmates who have passed away over the past 50 years.
Howie reached out to us for a little help and some hardware to bring his vision to life. Using fl**ge mounts normally used to secure microphone mounts to desktops, he found a clever way to attach the custom memorial signage to two microphone stands. He also incorporated LED PAR 16s to give the display a subtle stage-lighting touch.
The result is a beautiful tribute that turns some familiar pieces of stage equipment into something much more meaningful.
At the center of the display is a simple message:
“Remembering our classmates who have passed.”
50 years is a long time. A lot of memories are made along the way, and sadly, some friends aren't there to share them.
We're honored that a few pieces of hardware from our shop could play a small part in helping Howie and his class remember them.
