We created a play festival. History was made. Our "Under the Eclipse" Young Playwrights Festival was a huge success!

Thank you to all those who submitted plays for this once-in-an-eclipse festival. Thank you to Jean Gordon Ryon and Carter Lewis for working with and inspiring our young writers. Thank you to our cast, directors, and those who helped to make this happen. Thank you to the RMSC for hosting us, and thank you to all those who came out to support!

Saturday's performance of 6 plays by young area writers to a full house at the RMSC's Bausch Theatre was the joyful culmination of the festival, but we hope the beginning of a lifelong passion for writing for the stage!

"Under the Eclipse Young Playwrights Festival"
We are absolutely blown away by the number of submissions of young playwrights (14-18yr) in the five county area. We have so much talent here folks! What beautiful, creative and insightful work. It's been difficult to choose six plays. Here we go! Today is the Writers meet and greet. The writers will then go through a dramaturgy process for rewrites, rehearsal with director and actors and a free public reading of their incredible work on March 30 at 2pm, Bausch Theatre at the Museum of Science Center. You are all invited to join us and bask in the magic of all these young Writers!
