June 1–2, 2026

Ready to take the stage with us?!

🖤 Team Auditions: Monday, June 1st
This year, auditions for all interested dancers will be held by ballet class level.

🖤 Solo/Duo/Trio Auditions: Tuesday, June 2nd, 4:00-8:00pm

✨ New dancers interested in joining who do not currently attend The Dance Lab will audition by age group.

All auditioning dancers MUST complete the online Performance Team Audition Application + sign-up form.
These forms will help determine which audition time you should attend. Click the audition information link in the comments!

Please complete both online forms by 12:00 PM on Monday, June 1st to be eligible to audition for next year’s team!

Your leadership, laughter, and love will be deeply missed. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. We are beyond proud of the incredible young adults you’ve become. The stage may change, but your Dance Lab family will always be cheering you on. ✨ 💃

Our last Dance Lab senior spotlight is Daisy Schmidt ✨

When did you start dancing/how long have you been dancing? “I started dancing when I was 3 years old, so I have been dancing for 15 years!”

What’s the most important thing dance taught you? “To express myself regardless of what other people think.”

What are your future plans? “To enjoy life to its fullest, by traveling all around the world and following in Gods footsteps!”

What is your favorite style of dance? “My favorite style of dance is jazz.”

What is your favorite dance memory? “My favorite dance memory is the group dance lab sleepover.”

What is your favorite thing about the Dance Lab or about dance? “My favorite thing about dance is seeing my friends almost everyday, and I am going to miss them next year.”

How long I have been dancing? “I have been dancing for 15 years!”

What is one thing you will miss most about the dance lab? “The thing I will miss the most about the dance lab is getting to spend so much time with all of my friends and coaches that I have become so close with!”

What is your favorite dance memory? “My favorite dance memory was getting to compete one of our group dances at finals for nationals!”

What are your future plans? “Next year I will be going to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where I will be on their dance team!”

How long have you been dancing? “I’ve been dancing for 16 years!!”

How has dance impacted your life? “Dance has impacted my life by giving me the most freeing form of physical and emotional expression I’ve ever experienced. It has also gifted me with unbreakable friendships with some of the best people in the world. I’ve never met people I’ve loved more than those I met through dance.”

What are you future plans? “Next year, I plan on going to Gulf Coast State for Health sciences”

Our next Dance Lab senior spotlight is Emma Crockett ✨

What is the best part about dance? “The best part about dance is the friendships I’ve made through the years. I’ve loved being able to see them every day and I will miss the time spent dancing and having fun together.”

What are your Future plans? “I will attend University of Iowa in the fall and major in nursing.”

How many years have you been dancing?
“I have been dancing for 16 years. I started when I was 3 years old.”

What is your favorite style of dance? “My favorite style of dance is contemporary.”

How long have you been dancing? “I have been dancing since I was 2!! 16 years!”

What is the best part of dance? “The best part about dance is the way you are able to express yourself without saying a word. And the people you become family with.”

How has dance impacted your life? “Dance has taught me great discipline, as I have committed my life to it and have missed out on many High school experiences.”

What are your future plans? “I plan to attend NDSU next year and peruse nursing.”
