E.A. Crochet

Current debate:

Crochet garments should be the same price regardless of size.
i.e. an XS is the same price as a 2X for a hand crocheted garment.

As 'insensitive' as it may feel, more material and more time will naturally cost more money. It has nothing to do with body shaming and everything to do with cost-per-stitch.

What's your opinion?

Meme for attention because this has how I've felt all day. 😂

Help me pay by mortgage next month by sharing this photo. 😂

I'm also going to list the chart for the mosaic back panel on Etsy for stupid cheap. Every freaking dollar matters.

If you didn't know, my husband quit his job to make AlterMage happen. AlterMage is our first major video game release. We've launched smaller games, but this is a big freaking deal.

BUT. 😅 We found out we might not get our payout from Steam until way later than anticipated.

Which means I'm asking my followers, friends, support system and other amazing creative to help in ways that cost them nothing except a couple taps.

🍝 Comment what your dinner plans are if you wanna start a conversation. Bonus points if it's a budget meal because your girl is on the struggle bus.

What the fudge are y'all doing with ground beef that isn't meatloaf or spaghetti!? 🤣

EDIT - I want to add that this cardigan is actually available to exchange for valuable paper. 😂

Just here to be mad at a factory knot when I'm only twelve stitches away from finishing the piece. 😭

Lion Brand, why'd you do this to me!?

(I am super pumped about finally finishing something this year though. 🤣)

Say whaaaaat! I've been dead and not working so who nominated me? 🤣

I actually made this clip a few days ago and it's not that hot out anymore, but learning new text editing techniques in Davinci Resolve is hard and life is life-ing. 😂

Everything is so busy and it stresses me out. I'm wearing so many hats. But I'm finding time to slowly work on a new sweater design! And it's gonna be super cozy... Which is why I'm over summer.

All I want is sweater weather. 😩

I have been working on projects in my spare time, but this is what's been keeping me busy. Buckle up, because it's not crochet and it's a long one. But I need your help!

The AlterMage demo is officially live. If you're new here, you probably have no idea what that is. 😂

🧙‍♂️ AlterMage is the first-person spell-slinging metroidvania game my husband has been developing. Crochet took a backseat while I helped him quit his job and get this thing rolling.

We've been working so hard the last six months to get the demo ready for people to play. I was up until 3am helping finalize posts, videos, ads, the demo itself. I think Justin came to bed around 5am after spending time perfecting parts of the level that we knew needed a little work.

This has been such a crazy year. Quitting your 9-5 to take a risk is scary. There isn't a day that goes by where we're not questioning our sanity. 😅

I am so incredibly proud of the work that Justin has been putting in. I've never been a gamer. I'll watch him and our daughter play and love the time they have together bonding over games. But over the last six months, I've truly come to understand how much hard work, design decisions and math that goes into making a game work...And I watched Justin do it all on his own, right down to the music (which is amazing, FYI). ❤

Sure, I'll send an email or a DM and look over design work, but no one is actually building this beast other than Justin. And if you know my husband, you know it has to be perfect.

💻 If you have a computer, laptop, potato with internet and keyboard - you can play the first hour of our game. Justin specifically made sure the game could be played on the lowest quality laptop we have and it may not be with the highest graphics settings, but you CAN play it on a regular old laptop.

👉 Here's where I need the help!

If you're not a Steam user, I can walk you through downloading the demo, just message me! If you're a regular PC gamer, please try the demo! Leave an honest review! It ALL helps us in any way.

If you're not a gamer - please share it with your friends! Or your neighbor. Or your barista. Literally anyone. 😂

The link-a-doodle is down where they usually go!

And thank you to everyone who's cheered for us, shared a post, or simply asked how it's going. I appreciate you more than you'll ever know. ❤️

How many times can I frog a project before the yarn loses it's integrity? Cuz I'm on frog number 6. 😅

08/14/2026

So glad I'm not a knitter. 🤣

07/16/2026

I have 138 digital patterns downloaded and finished maybe 10 of them. 🤣

How many are you hoarding!?

That time I made a custom bow with FORTY hand-placed Czech crystals! 😍

These are always fun to make! I should publish the pattern. 🤔
