A fun gathering every Monday night!- The sign up sheet is out at 5:30, the stage opens at 6 and it all wraps up at 9. Great drinks and burger specials too!

It's state fair time but MOM says if you want to have a really great experience and not just a fair one, come to Monday Open Mic at the Bobtown Bar and Grill. There's no traffic jam, no admission charge and parking is free, the air conditioning is on, the food selection is great (nothing on a stick but the burger specials are fantastic) and you don't have to climb grandstand stairs to see outstanding performances. You can even be part of it if you want! The signup sheet will be out at 5:30 or a bit before, the stage opens at 6 and it all wraps up at 9 with the Turn Out the Lights jam. MOM says the people watching is great too. Now what could be more fair than that?

MOM is downright excited. After a week off her family will be gathering again for Monday Open Mic at the Bobtown Bar and Grill. Even though there are five Mondays in August, MOM hated to miss one. But the Bobtown's kitchen is now back in full swing with burger specials and more after the renovation, the drinks are cold as always, the signup sheet will again be out at 5:30 or a little before, the stage will open at six and the next three hours will be packed with talent right up to the last note of the Turn Out the Lights jam. It'll put a smile on your face for sure!

Alert! There will be no Monday Open Mic this coming Monday, the 17th, due to some kitchen remodeling at the Bobtown Bar and Grill. The bar will be open, but since the grill offerings are such an important part of our Monday night gatherings, MOM has chosen to take the night off. It is slightly depressing, but she promises you can fill your plate again on the 24th!

MOM loves growing things and nothing makes her happier than watching performers bloom during Monday Open Mic at the Bobtown Bar and Grill. It's MOM's musical seedbed for both beginning performers whose talents are just sprouting all the way to seasoned singer/players who are sending branches out into new challenges. So grab a burger special or other grill item and a cool one, then settle back and watch MOM's garden grow. Perform if you want. MOM is always a little sad when another month of Monday Open Mics at the Bobtown Bar and Grill comes to a close, but then she gets excited thinking about what the new month holds in store. Make MOM smile by helping her kick off August with another evening of music, food, drinks and all-around fun. Perform if you want or just enjoy a drink and burger or other grill selection while listening. Oh, and MOM says it's okay to sing about barefootin' but being barefoot isn't allowed. Decorum rules.

MOM upside down is WOW and there's no better place to wow an appreciative audience than the Monday Open Mic stage at the Bobtown Bar and Grill in Roberts. The signup sheet is out at 5:30 or a bit before, the stage opens at 6 and it all wraps up at 9 with the Turn Out the Lights jam. If you choose not to perform that's just fine because you won't find a better place to settle back among friends while listening to those who do. Enjoy a burger special or other offering from the grill along with a cool drink or two. MOM thinks every Monday evening should be a relaxing bed of roses.

Been in a bit of a smokey haze lately? MOM says the best place to clear the air is at the Bobtown Bar and Grill's Monday Open Mic where the drinks are cold and the only thing hotter than the music is the kitchen churning out those burger specials. Speaking of haze and specials, this week MOM's giving extra points for songs containing smoke in the titles and/or lyrics. You might hear of some in mountain rain, along the track, in your eyes or even the boys' room. The signup sheet goes out at 5:30 or a little before, the stage opens at 6 and it all wraps up at 9 with the Turn Out the Lights jam. Only then does MOM douse the fun and take a deep breath. Friday the 13th may be unlucky but this Monday the 13th is anything but that. So come gather with MOM at the Bobtown Bar & Grill in Roberts for another Monday Open Mic where you'll find the atmosphere, drinks, tunes and performers are as cool as can be. (Okay, the grill is hot but how else can they make those Monday burger specials?) Perform or just relax among friends. Though the 4th of July fireworks have died out, you'll still find plenty of reasons to "ooo and aaah" at the Bobtown Bar and Grill during Monday Open Mic, including great music from the stage, taste temptations wafting from the grill, the refreshing sip of your favorite beverage or simply the sparkle of being surrounded by friends.
