I’m still here! I wanted to pop on here and say “hello!” I am not posting very much, but am still working away and dreaming of some big changes for my little shop in the new year. If you’re still here, thank you!

And a big THANK YOU for all the love that this particular print has received! I’ve truly been touched by the response! If you are interested in placing a Christmas order, please do so by Friday of this week so I can try and get them to you on time.

✨Merry Christmas to you all! May we not get lost in the hustle and bustle and consumerism and perfectionism that we might be tempted to call “Christmas magic”. The real magic is simple. Emmanuel, God with us! Hallelujah!✨

Reflecting on the Lantern House Conference from last weekend and frankly I’m at a loss for words. Life is sometimes hard and sometimes it’s really beautiful. This day felt like harvest day or Christmas morning. Like when something you’ve been working hard towards or waiting/hoping for a long time finally comes to fruition. For a moment, I got to see some of my dreams and those of my family and community come into clarity. After some hard years of uncertainty, I’m deeply moved considering how constant Gods provisions have been even when I couldn’t see them all along. So much food for thought and I may share more later but for now, thank you Lantern House for having me and for championing beauty and creativity. It was an honor to share my craft and clarify my own vision for creativity alongside side a rich community. My heart is full, my eyes are teary, and my hands are itching to make things.

I haven’t been very good with social media these days, but had to share this great class from a few weeks back at the Stecoah Valley Arts Center. These women brought such a varied array of artistic backgrounds from doll making, to water colorist, to interior designer, and it was a delight to see their enthusiasm for Lino print. Thank you to SVAC for having me in your beautiful facility!

Keep your eyes peeled for more classes in the future. I also have a downloadable beginners Lino print course that I highly recommend for anyone who is itching to learn from afar!

Hi, hello, hey there. I’ve mostly been working on commissions these days, which has been a blast, but I’m not able to share as much process at the moment. But I’m still here, still making things, still seeking inspiration in the little things. Speaking of little things swipe to see a lil’ happy fella.

“Won’t You Be My Neighbor” will always be a favorite of mine. ❤️

It was an absolute delight to teach my Intro to Lino Print course at Olive’s Porch, the John C. Campbell Folk School extension in downtown Murphy. This group was thoughtful, intuitive, and committed to the challenge of the medium. I was inspired by the collaboration that happened and how students celebrated each other when they pulled their first test prints!

These in person classes remind me of the power of creating in community. If this is something that you would like to try, please be on the lookout for future Olive’s Porch workshops! I will also be teaching a course at the Stecoah Valley Arts Center May, 31st that still has open spots!

And if you are out of town, click the link in my bio to learn more about my e-course via my website! You could learn everything you need to jump into the world of Lino print from the comfort of your dining room table!

After months of work, I am so excited to share my commission piece for Graham County’s 8th annual Flame Azalea Festival. Thank you to the Graham County TDA for trusting me with a project that I know is near and dear to their heart.

From the native Flame Azalea to the anomaly of Hooper Bald, each depiction was chosen to highlight the culture, flora, and fauna that make this region so rich, creating a patchwork tapestry reminiscent of a quilt.

Come out June 14th for a family event in celebration of arts and our region’s cultural heritage! Hope to see you there!

Details on limited edition prints for purchase to follow! ❤️

I’ve been quietly working on a commission piece throughout the month of January and I’m nearly able to share it with you all.

I’ve also been taking some time away from social media to reset for the year. I’m so grateful for the support shown through this platform, but it has been lovely to be present and free from much of the comparison that I often struggle with on Instagram. It’s easy to feel pressure to keep up with the frenetic pace at which people are trying to make themselves relevant on social media. But it’s okay! I have to remind myself that I can step away and live in my own little community with my people. I can faithfully engage my inner circle and trust that’s there’s a more powerful force at work in the world than the algorithm, directing my sphere of influence. Three cheers for slowness, presence, and trust in 2025!

Hello there! Whether you’re a new follower or considering taking our class, “A Beginners Guide to Lino Print”, I thought I would take a moment to reintroduce myself! My name is Anna Rose and I’m the artist behind Good Seed Craft Co. I always chuckle to myself whenever I refer to this business as a “we” because truth be told, it’s just me! 🙋‍♀️ I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember and seriously pursuing linocut for the past four years. I studied art education at Berry College and have 6 years of teaching experience. And I’m really passionate about using art and creativity to connect people, encourage reflection, and demonstrate that we were created to create.

I’m also a wife to Graham (my biggest cheerleader) and a mother to two wee lil’ boys who keep me laughing, humbled and on my toes.

Now that you’ve met the instructor, check out the new class that “we” 😉 just released on the site! It’s an accessible way to dive into the world of linocut for yourself. I also think it would make the coolest Christmas gift! 🎁

Swipe to see the precious people I spend most time with as an off duty artist, then tap the bio link to learn more about the class!

Merry Christmas!🎄

Gone are the days when people gathered in the town square to meet up, share ideas, and swap stories. The modern day coffee shop now acts as the hub for a community. It’s like the town living room. For a long time our sweet little town has desperately needed a “living room”. I couldn’t be more excited for the opening of Morning Fog in Andrews! I know so much love and sweat has gone into making this a reality and I’m delighted to be a very small part of their opening. Good Seed Craft Co prints are now available for purchase locally at the coziest spot in town! 🎉 🙌
