The Feel Good Tour

The Feel Good Tour The Feel Good Tour, now going on 20 years is now a Not for Profit organization. We are a small group a program we call, In Our Own Backyard.

Founded in 2005 by Guy Nouri and Bill Hudson during Hurricane Katrina, we give donated new or used instruments to schools and children in need. To date we have given over 700 musical instruments to 4 Gulf Coast Schools, one school in West Virginia and in our area Roanoke, Va. How it works: If you have instruments you would like to donate, e-mail us at [email protected] and we will in one

form or the other get it to our base here in Roanoke, Va. We have had instruments from Alaska, Chicago, Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and here in Virginia. When we accumulate enough we then take them personally to schools where there is need. We have also delivered instruments to individuals. Please donate only instruments in working condition. As yet we don’t have the funds to make repairs on those that need work. We accept band instruments such as brass horns and woodwinds; and stringed instruments, such as guitars and mandolins, violins, banjos, cellos and basses.

Today a nice lady came up to our table and told me her husband passed away and she has his guitar. I told her she should keep it. Well, some time passed and sure enough this lady came back with his guitar and wanted to pass it on.
