(7)

The CenterPieces Reading Series is a showcase for minimally produced staged readings that happen over the lunch hour on the Waldron Stage of Mill Mountain Theatre on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. CenterPieces readings are presented free of charge on the 2nd Wednesday of each month between noon and 1PM on the Waldron Stage of Mill Mountain Theatre in Roanoke, VA. Scripts must be between 25 and

35 minutes in length, and suitable for a lunchtime audience. Preference is given to minimal production values, small casts, scripts without coarse language and that avoid overly controversial topics. CenterPieces Readings are produced by the Playwright's Lab at Hollins University and presented by Mill Mountain Theatre (www.millmountain.org)

Though CenterPieces has had an open submission policy in the past, submissions are now closed and due to the deepening relationship between Mill Mountain Theatre and the Playwright's Lab at Hollins University, all readings will be of work associated with the Playwright's Lab.
