Opera Roanoke is thrilled to welcome , one of the most celebrated voices of our time, in her groundbreaking program Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene; an experience unlike anything the Opera Roanoke has presented before.⁠

Blending soaring live performance with stunning imagery from the National Geographic Society, this multimedia event transforms the concert stage into an immersive reflection on our relationship with the natural world. ⁠

Chorus rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:30 PM at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church, with an occasional Sunday afternoon rehearsal requirement. Dillon Swanson, Opera Roanoke's Chorus Master, leads all rehearsals.

What to bring:
– Two prepared pieces (one foreign language, one your pick)
– Readable sheet music (no chord charts)
– Yourself, exactly as you are

The Opera Roanoke Chorus is auditioning new members on Sunday, June 14, from 2–4 PM at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church — and yes, you're qualified.

Teachers, nurses, students, church musicians, weekend shower-soloists: our chorus is made of real Roanoke people who love to sing.

What to bring:
2 prepared pieces (one in a foreign language, one of your choosing) and readable sheet music. A pianist is provided.
