The very first “mobile DJs” became popular in the 1960s and 70s when entertainers began transporting sound systems and records to weddings, school dances, and private parties. Before that, most events relied almost entirely on live bands.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer or a long weekend. It is a reminder that the freedoms we enjoy, the moments we celebrate, and the time we spend with family and friends were made possible through extraordinary sacrifice.

At Blue Ridge Entertainment, we are grateful for those who gave everything so that we can continue creating joyful memories, celebrating milestones, and gathering together as a community.

Today, we remember the fallen, honor their legacy, and keep their families in our thoughts. 🇺🇸
