Did you know the term “disc jockey” dates all the way back to 1935?

The name was originally used to describe radio personalities who played records on the air, long before DJs became a familiar part of weddings, clubs, parties, and special events.

A lot has changed since then. Records became CDs, CDs gave way to digital music, and DJ equipment continued to evolve right along with it.

But one thing has stayed the same, a great DJ does much more than simply choose the next song. They create an experience, set the tone, and keep people connected through music.
