We are super excited to announce the first of many guest here at Urbnpop comic company.

Come in to the shop and sign up for the Society of Sequential readers book club. Members get a private signing and Q&A with select comic creators, join us July 22nd and meet creator, writer of “The Shepherd” @ Andrea Lorenzo Molinari.

Andrea will be signing 3-5 in the store and this is open to the general public, at 7:00 pm we will close the shop down and host a private Q&A. We encourage folks to pick up a copy of The Shepard ahead of the signing to have time to read and get any questions answered by the creator directly. ( free admission to the Q&A if a copy of the book is purchased from Urbnpop comics co)

Sci-Fi Noir Detective Saga “eJunky” Explores the Risks and Consequences of Relying on Technology

The journey that is making a graphic novel (let alone a series) is long and painstaking. There are false starts and dead ends on the road. Yet, the experience of working with other artists can forge powerful bonds between creators. On Friday, January 27, 2023, Josh Barker -- the first artist to draw Dr. Lawrence Miller and his alter ego The Shepherd, passed away suddenly and tragically. Even though life eventually would dictate that Josh could not continue with The Shepherd, he will always be part of the story. Team Shepherd extends our deepest condolences to his wife Jessica Geer Barker and their children.
