For those who haven't heard, Walt Kanehiwa passed away last month and the plans are to have a memorial service on October 20, 2018, which is his birthday. The location and time will be announced once it has been set, so save that date.

Attached you will find a flyer announcing a new program the HUI has created titled Benevolent Scholarship. Criteria for the scholarship will be sent in our next newsletter. As indicated on the attached flyer, Keanu Kanehiwa will be the first recipient of this scholarship which we look forward to your support and applicants in the future.

As you know our focus this year is 'culture'. So more classes to come. Check out our event calendar on our page and in our newsletters of upcoming events.
