About the Artist

My husband and I are currently live in Casper, Wyoming. We raised a family and have resided in Natrona County for most of our lives! I am a self-taught artist in all the mediums that I work in. I’ve been painting steadily since 1989 and after trial and error with watercolor, oil, pastels and pencil, I now work mostly in acrylics. While most of my painting is on canvas I also paint on sliced stones, repurposed items, skulls and I like the challenge. I began wire wrapping gemstones in 2012 and began wire weaving jewelry in 2018. Since being a little girl, I have loved rocks, so it seemed logical to begin doing lapidary as well as making jewelry.

I find inspiration being outdoors and observing wildlife, old barns, mountains and my surroundings. Most of all, the inspirations come from my husband who drags home rocks and old pieces of junk I’ve managed to find while exploring the back country of Wyoming.

In the past I have done commissioned pieces for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, The National Wild Turkey Federation and was asked by Cabela’s to present jewelry for their Holiday Catalog.
