Bio
Kimberly L. Houle Professional Artist
I was born in Nyssa Oregon, growing up primarily in the Midwest region of the United States on my way to Wyoming, having moved frequently throughout my childhood and young adulthood. I have experienced many life changes throughout my life, drawing on these life experiences to help shape who I am today. Currently I live in Hudson, WY. with my husband. I am the owner/artist of the Artistic Impressions Tattoo Studio in Riverton, WY, having been self-employed there now for the past twelve years. I have been involved in the tattoo industry off and on for the past 30 years, having been published several times in tattoo magazines, most recently in March of 2012.
My mediums would have to include Ink, pencil, charcoal, acrylics, and now, oils. I have many hours of one-on-one training through my field of work with many artists, as well as studied art in college. I have been influenced by many artists over the years, including Andrew Tischer, Chuck Black, Lenna Dayna, Maz Art Studio, Michael James, with several Wyoming Artist, and many others. Although the majority of my work can be found on hundreds of people throughout the US and overseas who carry my art on their skin, I have recently enjoyed working with oils on canvas. I look forward to a lifelong journey of self-expression through my art.
