Photographing my own children has a kind of meaning I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words.

Because as a Mom, I know just how quickly these seasons pass and this version of him won’t last forever, yet I just want to remember every little piece of it.

The way he looks at the camera. The expressions that are so unmistakably him. The little boy who is equal parts sweet, stubborn, hilarious, independent, and just the right amount of wild.

Being his mama has been one of my greatest adventures & watching him grow into himself has been such a gift.

Five years old today. 🥹💙🎂

And for a moment, I get to keep this version of him exactly as he is.. five years old, completely himself, and so incredibly loved.🤍 Happy 5th Birthday, my boy!

After months of dreaming, refining, and pouring my heart into every detail, I’m so excited to officially share the new home of Alyssa Atelier Photography.

This season has been one of growth.. not only with a brand and website that feel more aligned with the experience I hope to offer my clients, but also through investing in new equipment that allows me to create even more beautiful, intentional imagery.

Every investment I make is with you in mind. From the moment you inquire to the images you hold onto for years to come, my goal has always been the same: to preserve the moments that matter most in a way that feels timeless and true.

Sometimes the best moments aren’t the ones you plan.

I met up with another photographer for a headshot swap, and while we were shooting, these three sweet girls walked over and asked if we’d take a few photos while they were having their Bible study.

Of course we said yes. 🤍

What started as an unexpected opportunity for all of us, turned into some of my favorite pictures from the day.

A little late sharing these, but this milestone deserved a spot here.

Thirteen… a chapter I’ll never get back, and one I’ll never forget.
Watching my baby girl grow into the person she is becoming has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
I wish I could slow time down just a little. But as a photographer, I’m grateful I can preserve pieces of it.
