Happy 4th Of July. Independence Day
This is a remake I arranged of the classic Elvis Presley tune of the same title. The lyrics however are quite different. "I wanted this song to retain it's original heart and inspiration but make it inclusive." It is a song for everyone offering peace, hope and unity. People have sung these tunes for a long long time some never pay attention to the lyrics but I feel it's important to send a message with a pure intent to unify each and every one of us, after all we are the "United States". Patriotism is not dead at least not for me. I love our country and what it stands for. Yes we have a tremendous amount of work to do but we have fought long and hard to get to where we are today. Going back is not an option but we must figure out a way to do it together peacefully. This song was produced and arranged by the very talented Jeff Allegue. I hope you join in a celebration of all that is good and let us all serve that higher good. I for one am going to focus my attention healing not hurting
