It is with a broken heart that I have to pass on some very sad news. Sue Dottin, my friend and backstage manager of many years passed away on Sunday . Her unwavering support, creativity and humor made the recitals the success that they were. I couldn't have done them without her.. Many costumes were saved or made on the fly. Shoes were always tied, hair pinned up and bandaids applied . Props and costumes were made by her. We had the largest collection of safety pins, bobble pins and went through tape,like it was water! She always had just what we needed or she could make it in a snap. She took care of business, but also had infinite patience. I'm heartbroken. She was one of a kind and she was loved. I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace friend.
